Honey's
We're starting off our sapphic/lesbian guide strong with Honey’s. Honey's is a sapphic bar & watering hole serving LA. They are a bar, live music venue, & community space, welcoming all LGBTQ+ & friends 21+. Honey's is the perfect place to make new friends, meet old friends, & enjoy libations of all kinds! Check them out from Thursday-Saturday in East Hollywood.

The Ruby Fruit
Next stop on our sapphic/lesbian guide is the Ruby Fruit is a strip mall restaurant and wine bar serving the sapphically inclined, located on Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake. The Ruby Fruit is a place to call home for not only lesbians, but non-binary, gender-expansive folks, the trans community and all of those who fall under the sapphic umbrella. The Ruby Fruit is the first permanent lesbian bar to have opened in LA since 2017. The wine bar’s name is an homage to Rita Mae Brown’s The Rubyfruit Jungle.

Bar Franca
Bar Franca is a classy little cocktail joint owned by a queer Armenian woman. This gorgeous little spot hosts all kind of cute sapphic-friendly events from DJ dance parties, to queer comedy shows, to sapphic socials, to cocktail making classes. Definitely keep an eye on their event calender!

Sweetwater Saloon
Closing out the venue portion of our sapphic/lesbian guide is Sweetwater Saloon in Long Beach. This bar is beloved by sapphics as a lowkey spot for pool, affordable, drinks, and friendly queer vibes. Make sure you hit up an ATM before stopping by--it's cash only!

Cuties LA
Black-owned & operated space for queer cuties! A few of their events: Readings at Sunset--an Afternoon of Queer Poetry, Friday Night Flirt, and Decadence--a Black Queer Play Party.
Fantasy Suite
Events featuring thick & queer dancers with Beginner, Fantasy, and Pole Class every Sunday! A few of their events: Heartbreakers, Tears in the Club, Hottieween, and Wet Hot Fantasy Summer.
Silk LA
Events celebrating kinky women and sapphics. Their goal is to bring together members of the leather, BDSM, and kink communities along with those just starting to explore.
Toxica Party
Events for the LGBTQ+ community, sapphics, lesbians, and friends every Friday at Mi Corazon Mexican Cuisine. You can go have dinner there and stay late for the party!
SF LA Queer Nightlife

A celebration for sapphics and dykes of all genders and sexualities. They are known for hosting a pride party during Los Angeles pride weekend and also host smaller events year-round.
Manic Pixie Dream Market
A traveling sapphic market in LA, San Diego, and other parts of California. They promote and feature sapphic vendors of all kinds and often have themes like Graveyard Bazaar and Pixies Past Dark.
Black Rainbow
Trans-led, Trans-first Queer and sapphic culture in LA. A few of their events include Solidarity is Hexy vendors market, Trans-cedent Tuesdays, Second Puberty Trashy Y2K, and Dark Cathedral Rapture.
