Founder Katie Davis created Banana Split to solve real issues faced by her community. As a sapphic woman, she knew too well that most toys aren’t built with queer bodies in mind—especially double-ended dildos. According to market research, most double-enders are inaccessible to the majority of sapphic couples due to sizing issues.

Bodies are diverse—so it’s no surprise that a one-size-fits-all model doesn’t work for everyone. While all couples may run into fit issues, queer women feel this limitation most acutely: simultaneous pleasure is a deeply meaningful way to connect, but it’s harder for sapphic couples. Double-ended toys are a powerful solution. Unfortunately, current models fall short.

Instead of hoping people’s bodies conform to a template, there should be a way for everyone to find their fit. So Katie set out to design an innovative solution: the first ever mix-and-match double-ended dildo. With a patent-pending coupler, all Banana Split vibrators can be combined for a custom fit, tailored to every body.
