Current lesbian and sapphic partner toy designs desperately need to be revamped.
A simple Google search will tell you why but let's get into it!
1. Partner Dildos look GROSS
Not to yuck anyone's yum of course. But a classic double-ended dildo tends to immediately give most sapphics the ick. Just google it and you'll find images that'll make you cringe.
They are usually hyper-realistic and kind of creepy-looking. Probably not something you'd be excited to have inside of you--much less want to display on your nightstand!
This is because, even though double-ended dildos are often marketed to sapphics, they are not made by sapphics. And that needs to change.

2. Partner Dildos are Too Big
For whatever reason, double-ended dildos are always far too large for the average vagina. This means that for many sapphics, especially those with vaginismus, double-ended dildos are completely inaccessible. There aren't ANY options for those of us with a relatively low tolerance for penetration.

3. Partner Dildos Only Serve ONE Function
Most sex toys are multifunctional and at least somewhat versatile! If they don't work for one purpose, they can be used in another context. For example, a sapphic couple can purchase a dildo and, if it ends up being too small for one partner's enjoyment, the other can give it a shot. If a g-spot vibrator doesn't have the right angle, chances are it can be repurposed as a clitoral vibrator. But if a double-ended dildo doesn't fit BOTH partners perfectly, it's basically useless. And of course, it can't be returned.
4. Partner Dildos are too Expensive
To add insult to injury, double-ended dildos are a huge investment. A good double-ended dildo typically costs about $80. If you add vibration, the price range skyrockets to $100-$200. For a toy that only serves one purpose and needs to fit just right, it's definitely a gamble most of us don't want to make.
